The great John Wooden had long claimed that he once scored an ace and a double-eagle in the same golf round many, many years ago at a course in Indiana. Writer Jill Painter of the L.A. DAILY NEWS, has reported in the past that only four people have ever documented such a personal achievement….. including PGA pros.
