Las Vegas and offshore sportsbooks really like what the Donovan McNabb trade has done for the Washington Redkskins odds to win the Super Bowl in the 2010-2011 season.
Before the McNabb trade was announced over the weekend, the Redskins were listed at +5000 to win the 2011 Super Bowl. +5000 means a $100 wager on the Redskins to win the 2010-2011 Super Bowl, would pay the bettor $5,000 if the Redskins hoisted the Lombardi tropy. As of Monday morning, Sportsbook.com has dramatically shifted their odds from +5000 to +2000. Now the return on your $100 investment on the Redskins would pay out $2,000 instead of $5,000. That is a pretty dramatic shift folks!
The Philadelphia Eagles odds did not change much after the trade. Pre-Mcnabb trade the Eagles were listed at +1200. Now we see +1500 at Sportsbook.com.
