Week 16 NFL betting kicks off Friday Christmas night with the San Diego Chargers visiting the Tennessee Titans. The Titans have opened up as 3.5 point road favorites. The online sportsbooks are obviously thinking that the Chargers will rest their players the next 2 weeks since they wrapped up the AFC West on Sunday with their win over the Bengals.
The Titans are amazingly still alive in the AFC Wild Card Picture with 6 other teams tied with 7-7 records. Lets not forget, the Titans started this season off going 0-6.


Other marquee games for week 16 all have big playoff implications. Baltimore travels to Pittsburgh in a game that will either end the Steelers season or continue to build real playoff momentum if they defeat the Ravens. The Steelers are currently listed as 2.5 point favorites.


The Denver Broncos travel to Philadelphia to take on one of the hottest teams in the NFL. The Eagles have won 5 straight games and just locked up another playoff bid Sunday with their win over the 49ers. Denver was upset in week 15 by the Raiders and can not afford another loss. The Eagles have opened up as 7 point favorites at most sportsbooks, but have seen -9 at some books as well.
